  • Let your eyes rest for a while- Nothing beats rest. Your eyes need to take a break too for working long hours. Of course, it will be difficult for you to take a break especially if you are so engrossed with your work. Nonetheless, the best cure for eye strain is rest. Doctors suggest a 5 to 10-minute break away from the monitor for every hour. Naturally, it would cause you some small delays with your work but a little break would do well on your eyes.
  • Watch your posture- Always check your posture and how you position yourself when typing. Did you know that you can withstand long hours of typing when you are properly positioned? Sit upright and do not slouch. Furthermore, make sure that you are distanced from the monitor of your computer.
  • Visit your eye doctor frequently- Most of us don’t prefer wearing eyeglasses even though we need one. Assuming that you are having difficulties in reading small letters and reading text most likely you will need to wear eyeglasses or contact lenses.

However, there are certain things that you will need to follow when wearing contact lenses. Firstly, it is not recommended to wear contact lenses when sleeping. Furthermore, you should not wear them for almost 24 hours. It can cause severe headaches. It is advisable that you wear your eyeglasses half of the day and then wear contact lenses for the rest of the day.

As a blogger, your eyes is one of your investment in this online job. How will you be able to boost your profit when one of your investments is not properly functioning? Therefore if you are experiencing eye symptoms make sure that you consult your eye doctor immediately. That way, it would be given proper care.
