Quora… only people you follow can send you direct messages

Quora announced a yesterday a modification to its messaging system to make it safer for all users.
The company published that, starting today, users will only receive messages from people they follow. Still, if you want to be more accessible on the Question-and-answer platform, you can turn this feature down in your privacy settings.

Diana Gerr, a product designer at Quora, said that a small number of users will be excluded from this rule will be free to message anyone, users like Quora team, top Writers and Verified accounts.
